The story of Celtic Sea Minerals didn’t start out with years of planning and a detailed business plan. Celtic Sea Minerals started out after a chance meeting with a guy in a bar in Cork, Ireland. An entrepreneurial feeling that, if nurtured carefully, there might be a business opportunity in harvesting the red seaweed algae Lithothamnium calcareum.

Today our products are exported to over 40 countries globally for use in a wide array of animal diets and animal livestock farming systems. Celtic Sea Minerals started out after a chance meeting with a guy in a bar in Cork, Ireland. An entrepreneurial feeling that, if nurtured carefully, there might be a business opportunity in harvesting the red seaweed algae Lithothamnium calcareum.

                      Today our products are exported to over 40 countries globally for use in a wide array of animal diets and animal livestock farming systems. Over the past 30 years, the key to our success has been the combination of sustainable natural marine minerals, high quality production techniques, strong scientific research and a passionate team of highly skilled professionals all working hard every day to deliver for our customers.
